It's time for LISK to replace ETH now.  Once the hard f**k is complete there will be about 11 million ether on the free market again.  That's about 14% of the supply which was locked up suddenly being available on the market again.

There's likely to be a big exit and self-feeding spiral of falling ether prices and panic selling.

LISK should really capitalise on this opportunity as much as possible with a marketing blitz and the team highlighting why LISK may be less likely to suffer the same kind of problems due to the use of side-chains.

I hope many will sell so that i get the opportunity to buy cheap ETH, but i don't think many will, it's already cheap, and many new projects are happening on ETH network so i think it will easily go to 15+ after HF.

I don't think there is any doubt the ether price will crash.  It's a simple matter of supply and demand.  The DAO sucked up a huge amount of the supply.  I'm sure ether will rise again in the future but it is an opportunity for LISK to raise it's profile.

Etherium was supposed to be absolutely uncensorable and immutable. While I can understand the Etherium dev's desire to "fix" The DAO hack disaster, the problem is that this hard fork is setting a precedent. What will happen in the future if Etherium becomes the subject of an intense controversy with government authorities claiming it's a tax haven or a money laundering facility after a major swindle/theft has occurred resulting in huge pressure for another HF? Don't think "Oh that's not likely" it's the very essence of what's likely once the precedent is set that HF's can be agreed to by enough of the miners/community. If large swathes of the network are in the hands of government, big banks and other parties that will side with vested interests that suggest hard forking will be best for their interests, another HF will be on the cards resulting in further loss of integrity of what was supposed to an immutable chain that could never be interfered with for any reason.

It has been mortally wounded and it will take some time to shake off the worry and loss of confidence this has caused. I don't think we'll see the same prices for #eth. Initially it may go up a bit after the relief that the HF has "worked" but it will be "that the HF has worked" that will prevent full confidence from being restored.

Lisk needs to be very clear about this and ensure something similar doesn't befall it.
