why to release more AMPS? there are already 184,800,000 AMP in circulation. This will reduce the value of AMP of the people who currently hold AMPS, I dont understand, this will damage the value of AMPS and give more money to the devs? is not enough 184 millioms AMPS?
Steem has only 88 millions Steem and look how good they are doing, please explain
The business plan calls for investment crowdfunding approximately every 1 to 1.5 years, until the final product release. There are a set amount of AMPs set aside just for this.
Part of the reasoning behind this, is that small tech start-ups that get many millions of dollars thrown at them too soon actually have a harder time making it than a more sustainable, long term approach. We know we have to work over a period of time, growing the whole way. This makes early spending decisions more responsible, less wasteful, and result in better flexibility.
Only a small fraction of the total AMPs are in circulation now, and these tokens will not gain their full value until they are being used on the network. Many more AMPs will need to enter the Attention Economy of Synereo.
There is no "damage" to the value in AMPs - see the growth chart in an earlier post.
No comparison to Steem - that is a very different project from Synereo.
