Not sure which "verification email" you mean but:

If you tried to do a "Password Reset" then that only works if you type in your "Username" and "Email" correctly.
Usernames are also case sensitive.
It doesn't tell you if you typed it wrong, since I don't want a web page for people to be able to test if accounts and email addresses exist.
As it says on the web page after you click on "Reset":

"An Email has been sent that will allow you to reset your password
If you got your username or email address wrong you wont get the email"

If you weren't trying to do a password reset:
You are sent an email if you change your account in certain ways

e.g. the first time you login you'll get a big red message at the top of the screen saying:
"Please set a payout address on your account!"
So when you do that, you will get an email saying it has been set.

If your email address is no good, invalid, incorrect etc. you wont get any email.

I wont help people to get access to their accounts any other way.
If you can't remember your "Username" look at your miner settings.
If you aren't mining, well, then I don't care
