D10E Story from Bill Cassidy
I'm going to tell you a quick little story about how I became a part of something so awesome it's hard to explain in so many words. Because of that I will be using a whole bunch of photos and a super sweet video of some DASH guys buying John Mcafee a Soda from the Dash soda Machine.
https://youtu.be/q0gexrg4ED4That's so cool, thanks for all the photos! Hey, I gotta ask; What was Mr. McAfee talking about? What kind of attack did he say those wallets are susceptible to? I couldn't hear him. Also, was he saying that deterministic wallets are easily hacked?
I mean, this is THE man to listen to regarding these types of issues

Thanks again! Just wish Daniel was in that picture as well, but still, that's a great picture

EDIT: Oh wow, the wallet is asking him, during setup, to enter his seed key! And most phones have key loggers on them, as it's a very common (according to McAfee) ailment. So yah, why doesn't the wallet just GIVE you a seed key for recovery? Doesn't Electrum do that?
Yeah but electrum isn't on his phone

- The issue is not specific to dash or even cryptocurrency so it doesn't really matter. The attack he speaks of can be used on bank accounts, social medias, bitcoin, litecoin, dogecoin, any coin that uses passwords, seeds, etc. If it can be keylogged he is convinced it can be hacked. He is also trying to sell a product though, so I wouldn't buy to much into his bullshit.
Daniel wasn't around for the Picture, Sarah took it so not much I could have really done there.

Yah, he was also (or mostly) talking about how you have to enter your password/phrase. But I don't see why we can't have a wallet like the trezor that jumbles up numbers so it can't be logged. I think that's brilliant and should be done on a mobile Dash wallet ASAP. The guy is right
