Problem solved, I just had to upgrade the system to El Capitan version... 
Great troubleshooting! That was quick, so it may seem that the latest wallet has some issues with the older MAC software.
Yep, alas I will not be able to go back to Mavericks to see if this error is solved when the wallet will be updated...
