Considering the hashrate has brutally crashed, difficulty is now so much lower.

ETC is only 10% behind ETH in profitability now.
(from 300% ahead on launch)

according to cryptocompare calculator ETC is actually more profitable right now


As miners leave the show, the difficulty sinks and the rewards are bigger for those left.

Still a bit behind here.
