I would just consider your bid valid if you can proof you get such ammount in hands, the fact you being newbie its a must proof you own such ammount with a signed message.
You might be dealing with some ones alt as lately those who sells BCT account are being tagged with a negative feedback. It not going to be long if they start tagging those who shows interest in buying those.
