I believe they are a stronger team then most people give credit for. Sure they were incredible defensively last year but now that they see that defense alone does not win a championship they have been looking to adding on more offensive players to make them a more well rounded team to be true contenders to the cup.
They are great but not good enough compare with real madrid or barcelona. They may have won the league in 2014 however with new amunition keep getting into real madrid and barcelona, sooner or later atletico madrid will be left behind. It is too bad about this however financial is a thing that play a key factor on football
