Using the word never is a sure fire way to let other people know that you don't know what you're talking about.  All kinds of crazy things happen in crypto and thinking in absolutes has been proven time and time again to be wrong.  The volatility is the exact reason why people are drawn to it versus other kinds of stable and boring investments.  You can think what you like, but people who have been in the game long know to never say never.
