It looks pretty clear to me:

We are looking for 4 Seniors/4 Heros or Legendary. For a total of 8

If you take a look at the spreadsheet there is an 'X' for the fourth and final position that is available.
So to answer your question: Yes there is a "special" senior member slot open.
But that is up to Luptin to decide whether you get to fill that position or not. You will have to wait until he gets back from being absent this weekend.
Yeah I didn't see the link initially and that's why I changed my post. It was placed a post below, in a spreadsheet (which I found and revised my post within 5-8 minutes of posting it). Thanks for the comment though.
