So whoever is planning to pay dividends - better snapshot all your shareholders' balances before and after.
Good point on that, but given that i give daily dividends, it's tiresome as hell to keep on doing that. That's why whenever an investor asks me why he didn't get a dividend i point out to them to either keep their SILVER in separate accounts and watch their balance grow each day, or simply write down their balance each day for a couple of days just to check. Ofc, now i have a new tool

But all in all, for the sake of safety and paranoia, i completely agree with taking balance snapshots if you have an asset that pays out on a weekly/monthly basis.
