Guys you don't have to do self verification.
Leave something to do for others Smiley I think its safer that way.
It's not only safer, that's the point of the thread. Self-verification is no verification unless checked by someone else, as well as self-quoting is pointless, as one can change both the original text and the quotation.

Correct, altough i see no harm in self-verifying your own messages. AFAIK, it's important to let an independant thirth party quote your address, but the signed message is something for yourself, just a failsafe to make sure you know the process of creating a signed message. If you're 100% confident you know how to sign a message using your wallet, it's not even necessary to stake one...

The verification is supposed to be someone else, because if you do it, it will carry no weight. There just no point. You could change the link or even sneakily swap signatures. Someone else could easily vouch for you, then quote
