If I had to choose I would go for fiat.
Everybody accepts it, and one dollar today will be worth about the same tomorrow.

Fiat is needed for survival, but crypto is the future, so yeah it is hard.
But we don't have to choose, we are lucky enough to be able to use both, which is exactly what I am doing at the moment.
Why is fiat used for survival? Do you mean people use it on a daily basis to buy day to day groceries and for that reason it falls under the survival side? There are a guy who lived on Bitcoin for 1 year
and travelled all over the world, without having to use fiat for day to day survival, so you can survive on bitcoin if you need to. The advantage Bitcoin has over fiat is that you can use it globally without
having to convert to other currencies to pay for services and goods. {You use it directly between people}
