I expect this is going to slowly die. It was interesting but without a competent dev team and projects being built on it whats the point?

Very good indeed! I read the article in full. I never stopped mining ETC...just had some serious questions (partly out of disgust at watching whales manipulate it like Pinocchio, and partly to flush out some folks who were serious about 'guiding' (not dictating) a vision of ETC. Well, Charles wrote eloquently on these points. After reading this thoughtful article, I feel once again this project and platform have real long-term merit, and that I ought to continue my little contribution mining. Thank you for posting! Now it's back to mining and supporting ETC as I always wished to do. Great to have some questions seriously viewed and responded to. Very much appreciated..now, on with the show...on with the fun! ETC once again is my coin/platform of choice (not that I'm so important...but maybe others with similar concerns will continue along as I will too). I encourage you all to do so! ETC>>>let's get it done!!

Roselee, some can take losses and trudge on...I have limited hashpower and funds...maybe etc will rise as a lot hope...but as a hobby miner, I do need to at least cover my electrical bills...didn't want to leave...love fighting for the underdog...until I realize I'm the underdog...hope the best for all crypto...to free themselves from being 'pegged' to bitcoin instead of having some value as a medium of exchange for goods and services in the world. Good luck everybody....I will still mine crypto..love the gear, but also have to remind myself I need to make enough to payfor it too...and hopefully a little extra for my efforts to build my rigs and some pocket money in cryptoland...carry on..I will watch with interest...but ETC is now concentrated in the hands of very large holders...the price will rise and fall as they determine...I've done enough...this is just a market analysis, not a indictment of anyone still in ETC...good luck.
