After the recent BitFinex hack I think next time I sell I'd rather do it in person, I trust my ability to look after myself in real life more than an exchanges ability to protect my coins.
but sadly this is hard. and I am speaking from experience. because I am doing this, not because I want to but because in my country there is no trusted exchange service, there are some random sites but they all are super shady and untrusted. so I have to find someone on the internet to sell for local currency and either receive it face to face or receive the money through bank. but it is hard to find that person and trust him and come to an agreement on the price because the low bid everything a lot.
