It actually feels bad because you see your total BTC amount go down. What feels great and its an instant dopamine rush is seeing the notification message of "incoming funds" and see your total BTC go up. I love that 
I can agree with this, it's great to see you're getting some money, but so bad to see you're losing it! That's until you get whatever you bought with those coins you sent, then it's OK
