I think so, so many predictions that say that the price of bitcoin will rise again, even megaupload was saying the same thing, they are even predicting that the price of bitcoin will reach $ 2,000 in early 2017. I think we need something to make bitcoin us into a lot of the time that

The bitcoin price might reach $2000 in early 2017, but after the Bitfinex hack, it will delay by several months.

$2k can be achieved in the future but we cannot expect to reach there very soon as our primary target should be to achieve the price of $1k and once its done after that anything is possible.

I see the information from twitter who is predicting a price of $2k will be achieved end of the year or in 2017. I hope that's true. because this is just a prediction, and there is no guarantee. but it looks unlikely that a very high price can be achieved in a short time.

My prediction for $2k can be achieved in 2020.

May be you are right it will take long time to achieve the price of $2k and I don't see it happening in this year and even if it touches that price in next year, it will not stay there for long term.
