holding bitcoin for a long time is not advisable for me if you want to have a great profit you need to learn buy and sell, if you see you already have a big profit on your investment just sell your bitcoin then want for a little dump and buy bitcoin again, that things make your bitcoin grow.
Perhaps you mean buy and sella is trading. I think trading can indeed provide a great advantage of the dump and pump that occurred and requires a relatively short time. but with the risk of us losing money every trading becomes larger. different if we simply holding bitcoin because I think the risk is small, but well holding bitcoin for investment does require a long time.
If you want to make higher profits only by holding then you need to wait for a long time as we never know when price will reach to the all time high.
