Total centralization would kill all key features for what we value cryptocurrency.
thats true, this is the reason why we shouldnt be wanting for banks to accept this currency, in my opinion bitcoin is good as it is and in this way it will keep on growing
No need to be afraid, banks won't accept Bitcoin (I have explained precisely why earlier). But if they did accept it, that would in fact help Bitcoin tremendously. Since most people use bank services this way or other, they could at least try out whatever banks would offer in respect to Bitcoin...
And banks are very inventive in what regards the ways they earn money
