Hey guys, so I am a newbie and i saw some of members here have multiple bitcoin wallets , why is that? do i need to make multiple bitcoin wallets as a beginner ?
It's not necessary to make multiple bitcoin wallets. In some cases you can have a mobile wallet, desktop wallet and cloud wallett.
I have an electrum desktop wallet which I store 0.1
BTC on which is kept fairly safe and the see is stored in a separate location.
I also have a coinbase wallet of 0.07
BTC which I use to be a "hot" and active wallet which covers transaction fees so makes it easier to move funds to different online wallets.
For a beginner, I'd suggest picking blockchain.info or coinbase.com for storing your bitcoins (as you probably won't have many to store).
