LeBron James will re-sign with the Cleveland Cavaliers on a three-year, $100 million maximum contract, league sources said, and the three-time NBA champion also pressured the Cavs to finalize a deal to keep free agent J.R. Smith.

That's more than $33 million a year, fellas. Does that make him the highest paid player now? If so, he richly deserves it and more.

Also LeBron James is pressuring the Cleveland Cavaliers front office to get J.R. paid and signed. Same thing like Thompson. J.R. Smith's agent is LeBron James. I mean, at this point you can't really argue with anyone about it since he just won the title for Cleveland, in like 52 years.

He can do whatever he likes and his demand should be given by the management as he is in the position now to do that. Lebron feels he is the best player in the world, and we have witness in the past that because of him blatt was fired, so he is a special guy for the cavaliers.
JR Smith situation can go one of two ways. He can either use the chip as motivation to carry on playing well, which basically just means putting effort into defense. Or he can let the chip get to his head and go back to his chemistry killing days. I've known and seen headcases like JR all the time, and I see the latter happening.
I believe JR will stay in the cleveland cavaliers because lebron will get what he wants, he is the superstar of the team and he make history with his team now, so I think the pressure is on the cavaliers management how to handle the demand of lebron james.

JR Smith is demanding a higher salary. There is also a rumor that the other teams are offering him what he wants like the Lakers. We will see this coming days if he will return to the Cavaliers.

I dont think jr smith is worth the money he wants. He is lucky he gets to gravy train rings and play with the best in the world and a great point guard. I hope they release/trade him cause its not hard to find someone who will take a stack of money to play with lebron
and kyrie
also Mike Conley Jr. Is no where near Lebrons ability to impact a game yet he will be paid like he does so. Lebron should be getting over 50 million a season and most likely would be if the NBA had no cap like the MLB. If you think NBA contracts are ridiculous go look at what a-rod is making at 41 years old

In the NBA you need cap space to balance the team, to stop the teams to creat super super teams. If thats happen that would be boring to watch and bet. Because you already know whos gonna win.

That can be happen but also it may got a good effect on them since it's really exciting to see the super team in action and how they execute in the hardcourt, and i also think provably many teams will gonna try their very best since this season will be their toughest season will gonna happen since we really notice that each team are shuffling their rooster to get more high skilled addition to lift and maybe win some champ.
