I think theres no danger. Each of these companies are working as hard as they can... at least they should... because time is money. It wouldnt change anything if they knew that asicminer is mining with 62GH now... Going after your argumentation it could even be the opposite... that they feel like giving up and lose hope because they see others dominating the market...
