This is happening to me everyday. The fast transactions is already lost and I thinm they want a higher fee for it to come back to the faster one. This will make an issue with bitcoin. I thought that is one of the best features of bitcoin. Fast and cheaper. Now it become slow and cheap. Pay more to make it fast. So sad.
"Pay more" in this case is around 0.0005 (28 cents right now) for a 1KB transaction. That's still cheap if you think about it.
even low amounts are too slow on confirmations. i got one small payment yesterday and still uncorfimed. anyone knows the reason why is this happenning? hope someone could explain about these matters. 
Low amounts doesn't make a transaction fast (in fact higher amount gets higher priority). What matters more are the transaction size and the number of unconfirmed transactions in the network.
