I guess thats the problem when you're in play betting... seconds can be the difference of a bet going on or not 
Perhaps I'd be better betting on Betfair myself and having funds in an account then no delay like that. Shame as I do love betting with Ethereum!
Some times that is the way the dice are rolled!! I am sorry for your luck on that one, but I have to ask, how much to you play in a given month in gambling!?? I could never play that much. I would be scared to loose 1/100 of what you were placing in one bet!!
