This could be useful for businesses if it bumped a thread after say every 3-6 hours of no replies. Altcoin services would really utilize this as that section is crazy.
That would violate the forum rules though, wouldn't it?
(Yes, I know, technically the 24h bump rule is a marketplace only rules, but I don't think there will be many fans of altcoin discussion/announcement posts being bumped on a dozen per day basis.)
Thats right also bumping is not necessarily going to give more views or visits to your thread as if it doesn't interest someone,he wouldn't check it even if it appears on top of forum
