IMO gambling is gambling as long as it's purely depending on luck and no support for it on other aspects "knowing methods of trading, best methods and ways to earn, specific market analysis", if the trader doesn't know these then it's merely gambling.
Nicely said, because when we are gambling most likely we are just reliance in our luck but when we are in trading we could do pure gambling which is not researching and investing which is a more positive approve as we will take effort to get the necessary information to analyze the market movement well.
