I could merge without any cost from your side. A merge of both loans would look like:
Next payment date: 28/08/16
Interest: 0.01072
After that it will be:
Next payment date: 11/09/16
Interest: 0.025BTC
If you merge the loans you won't have to repay the second loan and you would be able to keep the total: 0.5BTC
