Mining Synereo's AMP? Investing My SBD into AMP? Help a gal out!
Hello BitCoinTalkers! My name is GiGi and I am also known as QueenMountain on Steem. I have been fascinated with crypto for years now, I still have a hard time wrapping my head around the whole mining thing, but that is ancillary.
So I am an author on Steem, I have also mined some Steem (oh boy I got a whole one steem from it woohoo) but I am making steady Steem Dollars (SBD) from my content. At first I was all super excited about it and was investing my Steem Dollars into Steem and then powering up. But then I starting doing some research and there are certainly red flags going off about the infrastructure of Steem (oh and not to mention that the vast majority of Steem is held by the owner who is powering down and tanking the value, decentralized my ass! But I digress). So I have decided to power down my Steem Power. Originally I was long on Steem but now I am short. Very short.
Synereo has caught my eye and appears to be much more stable and promising. So I am sniffing around and finding lots of information. So my question is: How do I mine AMP? I am assuming mining for the public has not started yet. I have a smidgen of techie skills just need some guidance.
Also, I am thinking about buying AMP with my SBD I earn from my content. What do y'all think about that? Investing in AMP?
Sad story here! I was all into Bitcoin oh maybe about five years ago. It was $50 at the time and I thought, hmm. Maybe I should buy some, and then I was like, nah, it is kinda expensive. A few months later it shot up to $1200 (kicking myself in the pants forever!) So I missed that boat entirely and it was right in front of my face.
The same thing happened with Steem, I was a newbie when Steem was at $3 only like a month ago. I was like, oh boy! So all my Steem Dollars that I earned from my content, I rolled into Steem and powered up. Now its like at $1, well a bit over. Boo.
I DO NOT want that to happen again! And I am feeling like I am ahead of the Synereo curve here! But not for long!
