That is indeed a good idea. I think that's wise. But maybe it is better to start saving it so that you have more money later. And you can also invest more.
It depends on the person if how much profits he wants to get from his investment, if he is not willing to get a lot of profits then he may do the investment no problem if he has a small amount but if he wishes to get quite a lot of profits then it would be better if he just holds the funds till they grow a bit.
For me it is going to be a good move if you are going to start out your invest in small amount. And you are the one that is going to cultivate and grow it because if ever you are going to lose on that investment still you are going to accept it and you afford that to lose and if ever you are going to grow with that amount then you are just going to add some other amount again.
Exactly, starting with a small amount is always better to have some experience about the place you are investing, because if it turns out positive for you then you can invest more later on but if it gives you negative results then you can stay away from it to lose again.
