I really can't see liquidity as a problem in any crypto. 5M is no different than 500M with 6 instead of 8 decimal point. And I don't see the 7th and 8th decimal point becoming significant anytime soon even for bitcoin, let alone any other altcoin

I totally agree with you. From the logical point of view, this makes total sense. Not sure about the psychological aspects that some people have mentioned here
Anyway, I voted for 5M because of exactly what you described avove
