Maybe victorhing is rich now so he abandoned his site, or he is broke. the another example is satoshibet, after the owner has earned 10k btc, he shut down his site.

Thats not the reason on why people are ahutting down their business. No one will want to shut their business down if it is still making money for the owner. The only thing that i could think of is that the business is no longer profitable or the owner has lost interest over it and is looking for other possible alternative

You are right, people give the business up because they are no longer profitable. Or face some legitimate issues, but apparently it is not related to legitimate issues, or the site was shut down now.
