Actually my timing was all screwed up.

I heard about them during the first run-up to 30 USD in 2011, and wanted to get some.

Got a few via OTC in the IRC, while I was waiting for my dollars to hit dwolla so I could trade on mtgox.

Then I think the crash happened on MtGox. I can't remember all the details, but I ended up buying at around 18 USD.

Then they subsided down to 4 USD or 2 USD, but I had spent all I could on them, so I couldn't get any more.

Just crappy bad luck / bad timing on my part.

But now they are back around 50 and I think they will go much, much higher, so I am excited again.
