The price determined by the market, not the developer. The developer could artificially redeem the AMP's in order to deliberately raise the price before the crowdsale. But the market is not ready to buy AMP's at a higher price. Developer pissed away all the investments from bnktothefuture.com for purchase of AMP's on the market.  
These tricks can destroy the whole project....
