It is ironic, that some of the value of bitcoin, besides of its functions, comes also from planned scarcity, due to the 21 mio coins limit. 
Well yeah, but with the eight decimal places it ends up being 2.1 quadrillion, right? I wouldn't worry about a lack of supply.
As for Defcad, the first thing I thought of when I saw the name was "Defcad For Cutie?" Not sure why.
