Just to inform you that we started building owncloud environment on Amazon servers. Check out roadmap for official estimated dates.
First environmental step will be the ability for all users to upload multimedia content on our server and get XOC tips for every UP CO.
[Beta usage:] User XX upload XX file on owncloud server followed by XOC address. Owncloud Server store content giving back to XOC address a fixed tip amount.
Many variables need to be settled. That's just to inform you what we are going to build On October, but we already started basic environment scenario.
What is owncloud?
OwnCloud is a self-hosted file sync and share server. It provides access to your data through a web interface, sync clients or WebDAV while providing a platform to view, sync and share across devices easily all under your control. ownClouds open architecture is extensible via a simple but powerful API for applications and plugins and it works with any storage.
Send password protected public links so others can upload files to you; get notified on your phone when you get a share from your own or another ownCloud server. Edit documents together, have video calls over your own server, comment on pictures shared with or by you.
We released a new wallet 2 days ago with an additional Amazon node. As exchanges, we officially sent XOC proposal to Bittrex and Poloniex.
