It is hard to control ourselves actually, if you are addicted, you could hardly quit it. My strategy is to quit and forget the site after I win money, and never come back.
So you do that every time you gamble? The other question is what if your first attempt is a lose, I think you cannot do that all the time and that strategy would not work, losing and winning are part of the game and as gamblers no one is exempted on that kind of experience.
