For 2017, i don't think it will be a year of bitcoin. Because there is no big news on 2017, but we don't know though.

The development of the bitcoin has slowed a lot recently. I think the trend will continue in 2017. So the price will not rise much.

Maybe the more cryptocurrencies introduced in the market the more it slow down? It probably creates more confusions especially to newcomers and to most people that have less or no knowledge at all.

Bitcoin will always be there holding some price, but I think 2017 will be the year of altcoins and we will see many new and innovative coins launched by that point.

The thing with altcoins is that they are only having gimmick features that are nice to talk about, but in reality don't get used a lot beside for speculation purposes.

playing with altcoins is mostly gamble if you pick good or right one you will gain profit in other case you will lose short term is good but only for very short period
