both things can used also for more things but what i recommend you is that you need to use the paypal method as a online paying method and when you use bitcoins make sure you make money with it dont spent it on bullshit,.
In the past I used paypal and after adopting bitcoin and doing shopping with bitcoin I found that it is much better to use bitcoin instead of paypal, for me shopping with bitcoin is much more convenient rather than paypal.
