Bitcoin is already known at all countries worldwide, considering that at least a percentage of a country's population uses bitcoin.
That alone is proof enough that bitcoin is used worldwide. That's a great feat for bitcoin, considering that it's only roughly around 7 years old.
Yep. Bitcoin has grown very fast being only 7 years since its inception. Being used as a global currency, makes me think that soon we will reach mainstream adoption. I think that the only thing that has prevented Bitcoin from going mainstream, in my opinion, has been governments themselves trying to regulate the purchase and usability of it. However, this may change soon as more and more companies, banks, etc become interested into Bitcoin and blockchain technology.
