Not many people appear to be interested in Octocoin at the moment. Haven't gotten any responses to the paid jobs ads either.
I'll continue to support the codebase, updating it, etc.
I think two things need to happen:
1) Octocoin needs to get listed on a high volume exchange
2) Network hash needs to increase by a lot.
How do we get there?
Been thinking about this for a while....
1)To get on a high volume exchange we need higher volumes on the current exchange.
2)The answer is Merged Mining, obviously you can implement it but we need to give pools a reason to merge mine the coin.
Maybe setting up a liquidity group with some big coin holders get some decent buy/sell walls.
With all the craze about stealth addresses and ring signatures have you considered theses features for Octocoin ?
How about requesting to get added on Bitsquare Decentralized Exchange ? (
