I never expected anyone to bet for pliskova when serena williams is the clear favourites for the game. It seems to me that you are quite taking a risk here, most people are upset right now because she lost again and she did lose in the last grand slam to a newcomer as well, her era in tennis is now over
I have to agree that Serena Williams era is over as new young players are starting to come through and be competitive against her. She could still win a Grand Slam here and there but Serena's dominance is certainly over now. The same with Nadal and Federer, there dominance has been over for a couple of years now and now it's Murray and Djokovic.
Williams is 34 years old now, her era is almost over, maybe she can't win a Grand Slam in next year. Like Federer didn't win a Grand Slam since 2012.
