What are you talking about? With 10 bitcoins someone can now earn more than $6000 right now so how come they should be patient for earning $5000 later on? Holding might increase the amount even more but trading is much better for growing them.
No one knows what will be in 5 years later. And passwords can forget everything, to lose in this time

It really depends on a person on how he would manage his money and on how he would like to do with it.
