Interesting... Though I like the project and how it is being implemented, but I happen to dislike the main idea behind that...

In fact, can we say that MASS network idea is to allow people to sell themselves for the money..? Currently, the big corporations basically are stealing the private information from unaware people. With MASS, people have a chance to
sell their information to the big brother. So basically they have a chance
to voluntarily sell themselves for the money... It means giving people a freedom of choice, but it also means creating temptation, which could be not that easy to resist for a average folks who love money and do not really understand what they are doing.
@massnetwork: have you ever thought about the moral aspects? Maybe its just me, but I am a bit unsure of where all this tech is heading us...
Thanks for bringing up this topic. We at Mass think more choice is better than less. If you do not want to "sell yourself" then continue using your current method (but know that others are profiting from your data crumbs and attention). The monetization aspect of Mass is but one part. It also improves the web-browsing experience. You will see ads, but they will be for interesting products and services because you told it what you are into. Mass can not only show you relevant ads but it can also help you acquire said goods with a steady trickle of cash!
But more importantly, we prefer to support practical ways of withstanding the pressure of the current establishment. We recently witnessed that heroism isnt quite productive. People like Assange or Snowden end up locked. Only a mass weaponlike Bitcoincan do something. But instead of supporting Bitcoin, lots of libertarian-minded people waste their energy supporting altcoins. That obviously slows Bitcoins development.
Similar situation with advertising giants who steal our data. We prefer to cooperate with them and offer them additional options that would allow them to switch from stealing to buying. Other approacheslike Bravesare paved on top of the strong conflict. We doubt that Brave has any real power to stand against the industry. It is hard to explain what makes people enter a battle they are doomed to lose considering the current balance of power.
