Seems like abandonware at this point.
Can't believe anyone actually took this project seriously at any time, but some people devoted dozens of posts to discussing it a length.

The pump and dump of 2014 brought with it plenty of talent, much of which have moved onto other projects. The flatness in the price doesn't draw an awful lot more of the rather thin-on-the-ground hardcore dev talent to the table unfortunately but we do have a few resident experts like janko33 and DZimbeck keeping things ticking along.
Unlike other commercially oriented coin launches which have happened since, BLK remains a pretty open coin for use cases so it's anyones to tinker with. It's only abandonware when the blockchain stops.
