You know with a bit of reading you would easily find that the Blackcoin core dev Rat4 is still actively working on the code (last commit just few days ago, check the coin github repo),  also there is Janko33 currently developing a staking mobile wallet and he was giving us news about it just few days ago right here in this thread.

This place (bct) is filled with day traders, greedy profit suckers and trolls. In less than 2 minutes you can join the Blackcoin Slack channel and get much more information in a friendly environment.
