Both have their disadvantages- if you aren't a neat person or are lazy, a bank may still be a better choice in the end. Either way, having lots of freedom is something I enjoy and what most people in the world enjoy, so I use a bitcoin wallet. 
bank is more popular than bitcoin, at this momenth it's very hard to use bitcoin in "real transaction"
and for safety saving, having fiat money is more safe than having bitcoin.
