I saw the same with the 8Gb 480's. ETH became slow because of the DAG size and the 3Gb on the older GPU's but is back on par with EXP with the 8Gb GPUs
DAG size affects speed because of lower memory throughput on older cards, but my 270 and 380x both work with 6GHz memory. AFAIK memory size doesn't matter, if it is 2GB or more.Check just now, 480's are about 1-2 mgh slower than on ETH...
On R9 270 ETH are about 13 mgh, EXP ~17, R9 380x ETH 20-21, EXP 19-21.
