I would say forget mining altogether. Mining itself is expensive time-consuming, and uses a lot of electricity. I would leave that for the pros. The best suggestion is to use your earnings that you get in real life and just buy bitcoin and hold it.
if you do mining bitcoin and with a very limited hardware sources ,
and then it is meaningless , you will never get any profit doing that ,
but you can always looking for a promising altcoin , you can mine them ,
or just put a little investment on it , there is no harm.

Yes. I agree with you. I try this on my older computer and did'n earn anything. I give up when I see there ar no earnings.
so if you can not afford to spend million dollar to build a mining farm ,
why you did not just put your a little amount money on a high potential altcoin?
there a lot of altcoin popping up lately , you just need to watching them ,
and make a decision which one you should invested to.
