I was checking the releases on the Github repository and this is the earliest version I could find : https://github.com/bitpay/opencart-plugin/releases/tag/v1.9.2 (It says that It's compatible with 1.5x) . Keep in mind that It's always recommended to upgrade as bugs and security wholes keep getting fixed.
