People are either: don't know much about it and blindly follow the media bad coverage on bitcoin considering it only for criminals or those aiming to make profit from encouraging people to sell their bitcoins and therefore getting cheap BTC..
I agree that the media plays a big role with how they try to defame Bitcoin. But those are more like annoyances and reasons to skip using Bitcoin, instead of actually giving them a reason to hate Bitcoin.
